Antrodia stock for production was developed in a sterilized, in-door environment to avoid contamination, and required several years of modification of original wild Antrodia through genetic engineering. The results were unmatched triterpenoid, polysaccharide, superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzyme, and adenosine contents.
