2009The long life cycle of Antrodia cinnamomea makes keeping up with demand impossible. To replace Antrodia cinnamomea as the source material, liquid fermentation and solid cultivation techniques have been successfully developed. Analysis has revealed that, although liquid fermentation is low-cost and time-efficient, the Triterpenoid active ingredient is extremely low. Consequently, all efforts have been turned to further development of solid cultivation of Antrodia cinnamomea active ingredients.
